Following the model of Deerfield High School's 18-year-old super-fun and successful event, HP AfterProm is making it easy for all HP Seniors to have a great late night of fun. 


Come with your entire prom group, or just grab your friends for the celebration. We're excited to see you.

What is HP AfterProm?

Who can attend HP AfterProm?

HP AfterProm is an event immediately following HPHS Senior Prom that includes hanging out with friends, eating late night snacks, changing into comfy clothes, and making memories to last a lifetime.


Making the fun of Prom last a little longer for HPHS Seniors and their Prom dates—but also Seniors who didn't feel prom was their vibe, but still want to meet up with friends for late-night fun.


 Students will be bused directly from Prom to Pinstripes Northbrook to keep the party going from 11:30 pm until 2:30 a.m. with:

  • Late nite bites and desserts from local restaurants
  • Photo booth
  • Casino games,  bowling, bocce ball, massages, and more
  • Amazing raffle prizes—win a TV and other fun goodies!

Who can attend HP AfterProm?

ALL HPHS seniors and their dates, as well as HPHS seniors not attending prom may attend. 


Register for AfterProm when you purchase your prom tickets this April.


HP AfterProm is FREE—there is no additional cost for the event. You do not need to attend Prom, but you MUST register for this event while Prom ticket sales are open!

Parents: Why support HP AfterProm?

Because as parents, keeping our students safe on Prom night is our number one priority. 


  • Auto accidents are a leading cause of teen deaths. One in three traffic fatalities in the state of Illinois is alcohol-related. (NHTSA)
  • Roughly 29% of high school students drink alcohol, and 17% will ride with a driver who has been drinking. (CDC, 2019)
  • Nine percent of youth in grades 9 to 12 use marijuana daily or nearly every day, an increase of 80% since 2008 (American Academy of Pediatrics, 2020).
  • Prom night in Boulder, Colorado two years ago (2022) led to a fatal crash, and 9 indictments. 


It's fun, it's easy, it's free, and it's local. HP AfterProm is a fun, substance-free, late night celebration for the entire HPHS Class of 2025.
